Rule 55
Home Vacation

(1) A soldier shall be entitled to home leave at the rate of one day for twelve days of the period of service. Explanation: For the purposes of this rule, the term "worked period" means vacation and holiday leave, sick leave, maternity and maternity leave, maternity leave and public leave taken within that period.
(2) A military person will be allowed to accumulate up to one hundred and eighty days of home leave earned by him.
(3) Soldiers on home leave will get full pay.

(6) If a soldier dies before receiving the accumulated home leave amount, his immediate family will be entitled to receive such accumulated home leave amount as a lump sum.
(7) Soldiers who are on home leave and study leave will not get home leave for the entire period.
(8) If a military person who has paid the accumulated home leave, in the event of any natural event, the life of a member of his family or his own movable and immovable property is seriously damaged, or if there are other sufficient reasons, the home leave he will be entitled to for the next year will be deducted from the home leave for a maximum of thirty days.
